arbitrarily assembling multi-functional self-tensioning screen frame is
our company’s newest invention, which could substitute the traditional
screen frame and also the screen stretcher.
The
frame edgings are made of special-made aluminum alloy material, its
sizes is 1.18”*0.98” (30mm*25mm); Special
structural design with higher
intensity than the traditional frames materials; Much suitable for
screen printing with its
light weight – it only about 1.6Lb
(0.72kg)/meter, that is if you select a 16”x20” (40x50xm) frame, it’s
only about
3.3Lb (1.5kg), which is extremely suitable for screen
printing process.
Instruction Manual
One Screen Stretching Procedures
1. Select the suitable screen frame edgings according to your printing
graphics. Then connect the screen frame edgings closely with the the
inner and outer corner adapting pieces and then fix the screws of the
outer corner adapting pieces gently.
Speicial Notes:
a. Please don’t fasten the four screws of the outer corner adaptings
pieces tightly; Just fix them gently.
b. Please don’t fasten the four screws of the inner corner adaptings
pieces at first.
2. Connect the other frame edgings with the adapting pieces and then fix
the screws gently.
3. With the fluted side facing up and then put the screen mesh on it 4.
Press the rubber strip into the grooves and then flatten it with the
roller leveler. Note: If the rubber strips are a little longer while
flattening, please cut it off with scissors. 5. Install the left rubber
strips and then flatten them with the roller leveler and the rubber
hammer.
6. Connect stretching clamps and frame edgings; Install the retaining
screws with gaskets & nuts.. 7. Tighten the eight pcs of the M8*40
retaining srews of the stretching clamps; 8. Stretching: Tighten the M8
nuts with ratchet spanner and then the mesh will be stretched gradually.
9. Tighten the eight pcs of the screws of the outer corner adapting
pieces. 10. Remove the stretching clamps with the allen wrench and the
ratchet spanner.
11. Tighten the eight pcs of the screws of the inner corner adapting
pieces..
12. Fix the slide blocks with the M8*8 jackscrews.
13. Caulk the screen frame edging grooves with the sealing trenches to
avoid emulsion or inks inflowing into the edging grooves, which makes it
easier for cleaning.
14. Screen stretching has been finished. It could be used as traditional
screen frame for exposure & printing. Two Photosensitive Emulsion
Coating & Exposure It has the same procedures with the traditional
screen printing plate making process, from screen degreasing, screen
flushing & dried and then coating the photosensitive emulsion ( or
sticking the photosensitive films) for exposure. Three Printing &
Cleaning after Printed It has the same procedures with the traditional
processes while printing or cleaning after printed process. Four
Removing the Screen Mesh After cleaning the screen mesh and fully dried,
please draw back the screen mesh from one corner, then the rubber strips
will be pulled off from the grooves. The screen mesh will be removed
gradually. Five Screen Mesh Storage Please put the screen mesh flatly or
roll it for storage after fully dried. Six Reusing a. If you want to do
printing business with the former graphics, please just tension it
tightly according to the scratching procedures. b. If you need to do
another screens, please just stretch a new one according to the above
procedures.
